I am a qualified Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist and I have been working therapeutically with children, young people and adults, individually and groups, for over twenty years. I am also a qualified drama therapist and registered with the Health Care and Professions Council (AS05955).

I have also worked extensively in child bereavement and learning disabilities. I have also devised and facilitated courses for young people in emotional literacy, mental health, stress management, parenting and childcare. As well as carried out training to professionals in my field.

My work integrates creative techniques (such as sand tray therapy and art and crafts) with talking therapy.

Each and every person I work with is unique and  I recognise that in my work, so each intervention I offer is specific and tailor made for that young person or family.

I can help children, adolescents and families who are experiencing the following;

  • Low self esteem
  • Family breakdown
  • Communication and emotional difficulties
  • Relationship and friendship difficulties
  • Worries and anxiety
  • Low mood
  • Bullying and being bullied
  • Behavioural problems
  • Attachment disorders
  • Trauma
